Welcome to Fosterwold Gundogs

Here at Fosterwold Gundogs we are working gundog kennels, based near Leyburn, North Yorkshire, owned by Katie Smith. 

We are very passionate about working and breeding dogs fit for purpose; work, trainability, temperament, health & looks.

Our dogs are mainly used for picking up, working on large commercial shoots as well as small family shoots, within different terrain whether it's on moorland, in woodland/briar or within cover crops. As well as been used in the beating line, flighting or steady on peg. Completing usually over 100 days per season.

Dogs bred by us have also gone on to have great careers not only within the shooting/trailing world, but have also been successful in detection work, agility; as well as being great active pets/companions.
